41 C.F.R. § 102.74.120 — Is a prospectus required to be submitted before emergency alterations can be performed?

§ 102–74.120 Is a prospectus required to be submitted before emergency alterations can be performed? No. A prospectus does not need to be submitted before emergency alterations are performed, but GSA must submit a prospectus as soon as possible after the emergency. Federal agencies must immediately alter a building if the alteration protects people, buildings, or equipment, saves lives, and/or avoids further property damage. Federal agencies can take these actions in an emergency before GSA submits a prospectus on the alterations to the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
