41 C.F.R. § 102.34.340 — Do we need a fleet management information system?

§ 102–34.340 Do we need a fleet management information system? Yes, you must have a fleet management information system at the department or agency level that — (a) Identifies and collects accurate inventory, cost, and use data that covers the complete lifecycle of each motor vehicle (acquisition, operation, maintenance, and disposal); and (b) Provides the information necessary to satisfy both internal and external reporting requirements, including: (1) Cost per mile; (2) Fuel costs for each motor vehicle; and (3) Data required for FAST (see § 102–34.335).
