41 C.F.R. § 102.33.335 — What are the receiving agency's responsibilities in the transfer of aircraft parts?

§ 102–33.335 What are the receiving agency's responsibilities in the transfer of aircraft parts? An agency that receives transferred aircraft parts must: (a) Verify that all applicable labels and tags and historical and modification records accompany all serviceable aircraft parts ( i.e., parts that are intended for flight use) that you receive. This requirement does not apply to parts for ground use only. See the tables in § 102–33.370. (b) Mutilate all transferred parts that you discover to be unsalvageable, and dispose of them properly, following the procedures in § 102–33.315.
