§ 40.283 How does a certification organization obtain recognition for its members as SAPs? (a) If you represent a certification organization that wants DOT to authorize its certified drug and alcohol counselors to be added to § 40.281(a)(6), you may submit a written petition to DOT requesting a review of your petition for inclusion. (b) You must obtain the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accreditation before DOT will act on your petition. (c) You must also meet the minimum requirements of appendix G to this part before DOT will act on your petition.
