§ 96.03–1 Installation and details. (a) The installation of all systems of a marine engineering nature, together with the details of design, construction, and installation, shall be in accordance with the requirements of subchapter F (Marine Engineering) of this chapter. Systems of this type include the following: Steering Systems. Bilge and Ballast Systems. Tank Vent and Sounding Systems. Overboard Discharges and Shell Connections. Pipe and Pressure Systems. Liquefied Petroleum Gas For Cooking and Heating.
