46 C.F.R. § 35.25.1 — Examination of boilers and machinery by engineer-T/ALL.
§ 35.25–1 Examination of boilers and machinery by engineer—T/ALL. It shall be the duty of an engineer when assuming charge of the boilers to examine the same forthwith and thoroughly. If any part thereof is found in bad condition, the engineer shall immediately report the facts to the master, owner, or agent, and to the nearest Officer in Charge, Marine Inspection.
