46 C.F.R. § 2.45.10 — General.
§ 2.45–10 General. (a) A classification society (including an employee or agent of that society) must not review, examine, survey, or certify the construction, repair, or alteration of a vessel in the United States unless it is approved under the provisions of this subpart. (b) This subpart applies to a recognized organization that meets the definition of a classification society provided in § 2.45–1 of this subpart.
