30 C.F.R. § 75.1108 — Approved conveyor belts.
§ 75.1108 Approved conveyor belts. (a) Until December 31, 2009 conveyor belts placed in service in underground coal mines shall be: (1) Approved under Part 14; or (2) Accepted under Part 18. (b) Effective December 31, 2009 conveyor belts placed in service in underground coal mines shall be approved under Part 14. If MSHA determines that Part 14 approved belt is not available, the Agency will consider an extension of the effective date. (c) Effective December 31, 2018 all conveyor belts used in underground coal mines shall be approved under Part 14. [73 FR 80616, Dec. 31, 2008]
