20 C.F.R. § 10.224 — What happens if OWCP finds that the employee is not entitled to COP after it has been paid?

§ 10.224 What happens if OWCP finds that the employee is not entitled to COP after it has been paid? Where OWCP finds that the employee is not entitled to COP after it has been paid, the employee may chose to have the time charged to annual or sick leave, or considered an overpayment of pay under 5 U.S.C. 5584. The employer must correct any deficiencies in COP as directed by OWCP.
