14 C.F.R. § 1203.501 — Applying derivative classification markings.

§ 1203.501 Applying derivative classification markings. Persons who apply derivative classification markings shall: (a) Observe and respect original classification decisions: (b) Verify the information's current level of classification so far as practicable before applying the markings; and (c) Carry forward to newly created documents any assigned authorized markings. The declassification date or event that provides the longest period of classification shall be used for documents classified on the basis of multiple sources.
