§ 9037.2 Equitable distribution of funds. In making such transfers to candidates of the same political party, the Secretary will seek to achieve an equitable distribution of funds available in the matching payment account, and the Secretary will take into account, in seeking to achieve an equitable distribution of funds available in the matching payment account, the sequence in which such certifications are received. See 26 CFR 702.9037-2(c) regarding partial payments to candidates in the case of a shortfall in the matching payment account. [56 FR 34134, July 25, 1991]
