1 C.F.R. § 601.13 — Characteristics of Commission actions eligible for an Environmental Assessment.

§ 601.13 Characteristics of Commission actions eligible for an Environmental Assessment. (a) An EA is a concise document with sufficient information and analysis to enable the Executive Director to determine whether to issue a FONSI or prepare an EIS. (b) Commission actions that generally require an EA exhibit the following characteristics: (1) Minor but likely insignificant degradation of environmental quality; (2) Minor but likely insignificant cumulative impact on environmental quality; and (3) Minor but likely insignificant impact on protected resources.
