03-05-03: PURPOSE AND AUTHORITY:
This article is intended to help solve the problems caused by unowned, unwanted and undisciplined canines running at large in Canyon County, Idaho, and to provide for determination, registration and disposal of vicious animals in the county. This article is also designed to help solve the problems caused by "livestock", "fowl" or "poultry", and other animals as defined herein, except felines, domestic or feral, from running at large in the county. This article is enacted upon the authority derived from Idaho Code, sections 25-2801 et seq., 31-801, 31-828 and 31-714 to provide for the health, safety and welfare of the public.
