05-05-23: PROHIBITED ACTS; PENALTY:

   (1)   Misdemeanor: It is a misdemeanor for:

      A.    Any person to knowingly make, cause or allow to be made any false entry or misstatement of any material matter in any book, record or writing required to be kept under this Article;

      B.    Any pawnbroker, secondhand dealer or secondhand operator to receive any property from any person under the age of eighteen (18) years, any person under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs; or

      C.    Any person to violate knowingly any other provision of this Article.

   (2)   Criminal Penalty: It shall be a misdemeanor for any person to fail to comply with any of the provisions of this Article which shall be punishable as provided for in Idaho Code section 18-113, as amended, in the Magistrate Division of the District Court of the Third Judicial District of the State of Idaho, in and for the County of Canyon. Each day an offense continues shall be considered a separately punishable offense. All court proceedings shall be processed and adjudicated in accordance with the Idaho Misdemeanor Criminal Rules.
