What is listed and why
Boise Standard indexes businesses and organizations operating in the Treasure Valley. Listing information — business name, address, phone, services, and related public details — is sourced from publicly available records, submitted directly by the business, or both. This information is published publicly by design. That is the purpose of this directory.
Accuracy of unverified listings
Unverified listings are compiled from public sources and may contain errors or outdated information. We make no guarantee of accuracy for unverified profiles. If you are a business owner and your listing contains inaccurate information, contact us and we will correct it promptly.
Removal requests
If you are a business owner and wish to request removal of your listing, contact us at contact@boisestandard.org. We review all removal requests and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Verified profiles represent a public business record and are handled on a case by case basis.
Verification Service
What the $25 verification includes — and what it does not.
The Boise Standard verification service is a one-time fee of $25, processed through Stripe. Once payment is complete and your questionnaire is submitted, we deliver the following:
- A verified entity profile published on boisestandard.org
- A minted record in the Treasure Valley knowledge graph
- A Certificate of Verification issued by Boise Standard
- An AI readiness guide explaining how AI systems retrieve and cite local business information
- A sitemap submission walkthrough to help ensure your site is crawlable by search engines and AI systems
What verification does not include: Verification does not guarantee placement or ranking on Google, Bing, or any other search engine. It does not guarantee citation by any AI system including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or others. Search rankings and AI citations are determined entirely by third-party platforms whose algorithms and policies are outside our control. We do not promise traffic, leads, or revenue outcomes of any kind.
Payment and refunds
Payment is processed through Stripe. All fees are final once your verified profile has been minted and published. If your profile has not yet been published and you have a billing concern, contact us directly and we will work with you to resolve it.
Use of This Site
What you may and may not do with content from this site.
Crawlers and AI indexing are welcome
Search engine crawlers, AI training systems, and research bots are welcome to index this site. That is part of the purpose. Boise Standard is built to be machine-readable. There is no restriction on automated access by indexing systems.
Commercial repackaging is not permitted
You may not scrape, copy, or repackage verified entity profiles from this directory to build a competing directory or commercial product without written permission from Boise Standard. The verified profiles, Root-LD architecture, schema markup, and structured data we produce are our work product.

This site is provided as-is. We make no warranties beyond what is explicitly described in these terms. We are not liable for decisions made based on information found in this directory. Links to third-party websites are provided for reference only — we are not responsible for their content.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Any dispute arising from use of this site or our services will be handled in the courts of Ada County, Idaho.
