§14503. Certificate of measurement

(a) The Secretary shall prescribe the certificate to be issued as evidence of a vessel's measurement under this chapter. (b) The certificate shall be maintained as required by the Secretary.

Historical and Revision Notes Revised section 14503 Source: Section (U.S. Code) 46 App. U.S.C. 72. Section 14503 requires the Secretary to issue a certificate, in a manner that is to be prescribed by the Secretary, as evidence of a vessel's regulatory measurement.
