Codification Section, Pub. L. 87–367, title III, §302(c), Oct. 4, 1961, 75 Stat. 793, provided that rate of gross annual compensation of Chief of Staff of Joint Committee on Internal Revenue Taxation was to be an amount equal to $17,500 as increased in the manner provided by sections 60e–8(d) and 60e–9(d) of this title. See section 4302 of this title. A prior section 74a–1, act Aug. 5, 1955, ch. 568, §9, 69 Stat. 509, prescribed compensation of Chief of Staff of Joint Committee on Internal Revenue Taxation.
