Prior Provisions A prior section 61g–4, Pub. L. 95–26, title I, §100, May 4, 1977, 91 Stat. 80, authorized Secretary of Conference of Majority and Secretary of Conference of Minority each to appoint and fix compensation of an Executive Assistant and a Secretary. These positions were abolished by section 102 of Pub. L. 96–38, effective Oct. 1, 1979.
