7 C.F.R. § 51.772 — Fairly smooth texture.

§ 51.772 Fairly smooth texture. Fairly smooth texture means that the skin is fairly thin and not coarse for the variety and size of the fruit. “Fairly thin” means that the skin thickness does not average more than 1/2 inch (12.7 mm), on a grapefruit 4 1/8 inches (104.8 mm) in diameter.
