§ 27.100 Purpose. The purpose of this part is to enhance the security of our Nation by furthering the mission of the Department as provided in 6 U.S.C. 111(b)(1) and by lowering the risk posed by certain chemical facilities. [72 FR 17729, Apr. 9, 2007, as amended at 86 FR 41890, Aug. 4, 2021]
