Federal Acquisition Regulations System 1 2023-10-01 2023-10-01 false Policy. 22.1502 Section 22.1502 Federal Acquisition Regulations System FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS APPLICATION OF LABOR LAWS TO GOVERNMENT ACQUISITIONS Prohibition of Acquisition of Products Produced by Forced or Indentured Child Labor 22.1502 Policy. Agencies must take appropriate action to enforce the laws prohibiting the manufacture or importation of products that have been mined, produced, or manufactured wholly or in part by forced or indentured child labor, consistent with 19 U.S.C. 1307, 29 U.S.C. 201, et seq., and 41 U.S.C. chapter 65. Agencies should make every effort to avoid acquiring such products. [79 FR 24208, Apr. 29, 2014]
