43 C.F.R. § 49.110 — What are permit applicant qualification requirements?

§ 49.110 What are permit applicant qualification requirements? (a) Permit applicant qualification requirements include: (1) A degree from an accredited institution in a field of study relevant to paleontology, or demonstration of progress toward an advanced degree from an accredited institution in a field of study relevant to paleontology, or demonstrated training and experience commensurate to the nature and scope of the proposed activities; (2) Experience in collecting, analyzing, summarizing, and reporting paleontological data, and preparing collections for long-term care; and (3) Experience in equipping, staffing, organizing, conducting, and supervising fieldwork similar to the type, nature, and scope of the project proposed in the application. (b) Past performance by the applicant will be considered. Past performance includes compliance with previous permits, relevant civil or criminal violations, or current indictments or charges.
