§ 429.14 What criteria will Reclamation consider when reviewing applications? Reclamation will consider the following criteria when reviewing applications: (a) Compatibility with authorized project purposes, project operations, safety, and security; (b) Environmental compliance; (c) Compatibility with public interests; (d) Conflicts with Federal policies and initiatives; (e) Public health and safety; (f) Availability of other reasonable alternatives; and (g) Best interests of the United States.
