43 C.F.R. § 3265.12 — What will BLM do if my operations do not comply with my permit and applicable regulations?

§ 3265.12 What will BLM do if my operations do not comply with my permit and applicable regulations? (a) We will issue you a written Incident of Noncompliance, directing you to take required corrective action within a specific time period. If the noncompliance continues or is of a serious nature, we will take one or more of the following actions: (1) Enter your lease, and correct any deficiencies at your expense; (2) Collect all or part of your bond; (3) Direct modification or shutdown of your operations; and (4) Take other enforcement action under subpart 3213 against a lessee who is ultimately responsible for noncompliance. (b) Noncompliance may result in BLM terminating your lease. See §§ 3213.17 through 3213.19.
