Unit operator's bond.

§ 3104.4 Unit operator's bond. In lieu of individual lease, statewide, or nationwide bonds for operations conducted on leases committed to an approved unit agreement, the unit operator may furnish a unit operator bond in the manner set forth in § 3104.1 of this title. The amount of such a bond shall be determined by the authorized officer. The format for such a surety bond is set forth in § 3186.2 of this title. Where a unit operator is covered by a nationwide or statewide bond, coverage for such a unit may be provided by a rider to such bond specifically covering the unit and increasing the bond in such amount as may be determined appropriate by the authorized officer.
