43 C.F.R. § 2091.8 — Status of gift lands.
§ 2091.8 Status of gift lands. Upon acceptance by the United States, through the Secretary of the Interior, of a deed of conveyance as a gift, the lands or interests so conveyed will become property of the United States but will not become subject to applicable land and mineral laws of this title unless and until an order to that effect is issued by BLM.
