42 C.F.R. § 57.2207 — Amount of scholarship grant.

§ 57.2207 Amount of scholarship grant. (a) The amount of the scholarship grant to any student for any academic year shall be the total of (1) the lesser of (i) $5,000 or (ii) the amount determined by the Secretary to be the cost of tuition and fees; plus (2) an allowance for equipment, supplies, books and living expenses which shall be the lesser of (i) $3,600 or (ii) the difference between $5,000 and the amount determined pursuant to paragraph (a)(1) of this section. (b) The maximum amount of a scholarship grant during a 12-month period to any student enrolled in a school which provides a course of study longer than the traditional 9-month academic year may be proportionately increased.
