§ 51.1116 Requirements for an Ozone Transport Region. (a) In general. CAA sections 176A and 184 apply for purposes of the 2008 ozone NAAQS. (b) RACT requirements for certain portions of an Ozone Transport Region. (1) The state shall submit a SIP revision that meets the RACT requirements of CAA section 184(b)(2) for all portions of the state located in an ozone transport region. (2) The state shall submit the RACT revision no later than 24 months after designation for the 2008 ozone NAAQS and shall provide for implementation of RACT as expeditiously as practicable but no later than January 1 of the 5th year after designation for the 2008 ozone NAAQS.
