40 C.F.R. § 35.330 — Purpose.

§ 35.330 Purpose. (a) Purpose of section. Sections 35.330 through 35.335 govern Underground Storage Tank Grants to States (as defined in section 1004 of the Solid Waste Disposal Act) under section 2007(f)(2) of the Act. (b) Purpose of program. State Underground Storage Tank Grants are awarded to States to develop and implement a State underground storage tank release detection, prevention, and corrective action program under Subtitle I of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. (c) Associated program regulations. Associated program regulations are found in 40 CFR parts 280 through 282.
