39 C.F.R. § 281.1 — Notification of firm mailers.

§ 281.1 Notification of firm mailers. Whenever bulk firm mail shipments are involved in transportation accidents or catastrophes, such as train or highway accidents, fire, flood, etc., it will be the responsibility of the sectional center director of customer services at the office of mailing to give known mailers timely notification of the incident and its effect on their mail shipment(s).
