38 C.F.R. § 17.45 — Hospital care for research purposes.
§ 17.45 Hospital care for research purposes. Subject to § 17.102(g), any person who is a bona fide volunteer may be admitted to a Department of Veterans Affairs hospital when the treatment to be rendered is part of an approved Department of Veterans Affairs research project and there are insufficient veteran-patients suitable for the project.
