§ 9.60 When do I need a temporary access permit? (a) You must apply to the Regional Director for a temporary access permit to access your proposed area of operations that is on NPS administered lands or waters in order to conduct reconnaissance surveys. This permit will describe the means, routes, timing, and other terms and conditions of your access as determined by the Regional Director. (b) A temporary access permit is subject to cost recovery under 54 U.S.C. 103104.
