§ 222.50 What definitions apply to this subpart? In addition to the terms referenced or defined in § 222.2, the following definitions apply to this subpart: Child with a disability as defined in 34 CFR 300.8. Early intervention services as defined in 34 CFR 303.13. Free appropriate public education or FAPE as defined in 34 CFR 300.17. Individualized education program or IEP as defined in 34 CFR 300.22. Individualized family service plan or IFSP as defined in 34 CFR 303.20. Infant or toddler with a disability as defined in 34 CFR 303.21. Infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities, for these regulations, means both a “child with a disability” as defined in 34 CFR 300.8 and an “infant or toddler with a disability” as defined in 34 CFR 303.21.
