33 C.F.R. § 149.105 — What are the requirements for the overflow and relief valves?

§ 149.105 What are the requirements for the overflow and relief valves? (a) Each oil and natural gas transfer system (OTS/NGTS) must include a relief valve that, when activated, prevents pressure on any component of the OTS/NGTS from exceeding its maximum rated pressure. (b) The transfer system overflow or relief valve must not allow a discharge into the sea.
