33 C.F.R. § 104.260 — Security systems and equipment maintenance.

§ 104.260 Security systems and equipment maintenance. (a) Security systems and equipment must be in good working order and inspected, tested, calibrated and maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendation. (b) The results of testing completed under paragraph (a) of this section must be recorded in accordance with § 104.235. Any deficiencies must be promptly corrected. (c) The Vessel Security Plan (VSP) must include procedures for identifying and responding to security system and equipment failures or malfunctions.
