31 C.F.R. § 515.581 — Transactions related to conferences in third countries.

§ 515.581 Transactions related to conferences in third countries. Persons subject to U.S. jurisdiction are authorized to sponsor, organize, or provide services in connection with, as well as participate in, conferences or other similar events in a third country that are attended by Cuban nationals. Nothing in this paragraph authorizes a direct financial transaction prohibited by § 515.209. Note to § 515.581: The export or reexport to Cuba of technology subject to the Export Administration Regulations (15 CFR parts 730 through 774) may require separate authorization from the Department of Commerce.
