30 C.F.R. § 701.3 — Authority.
§ 701.3 Authority. The Secretary is required by section 501(b) of the Act to promulgate regulations which establish the permanent regulatory program; by section 523 of the Act to promulgate regulations which establish the Federal lands programs; and is authorized by section 710 of the Act to promulgate regulations which establish a Federal program for Indian lands. [49 FR 38477, Sept. 28, 1984]
