27 C.F.R. § 5.166 — Statements of composition.

§ 5.166 Statements of composition. (a) Rules for the statement of composition. When a statement of composition is required as part of a designation for a distilled spirits specialty product, the statement must be truthful and adequate. (b) Cocktails. A statement of the classes and types of distilled spirits used in the manufacture thereof will be deemed a sufficient statement of composition in the case of highballs, cocktails, and similar prepared specialties when the designation adequately indicates to the consumer the general character of the product.
