§ 169.211 What is the approval process for a mortgage of a right-of-way? (a) When we receive a right-of-way mortgage for our approval, we will notify the grantee of the date we receive it. We have 30 days from receipt of the executed mortgage, proof of required consents, and required documentation to approve or disapprove the mortgage. Our determination whether to approve the mortgage will be in writing and will state the basis for our approval or disapproval. (b) If we do not meet the deadline in this section, the grantee or Indian landowners may take appropriate action under § 169.304.
