23 C.F.R. § 950.9 — Enforcement.

§ 950.9 Enforcement. (a) The tolling authority of any facility operating pursuant to authority under a 1604 toll program shall be suspended in the event the relevant toll agency is not in compliance with this part within six (6) months of receiving a written notice of non-compliance from FHWA. If the toll agency demonstrates that it is taking the necessary steps to come into compliance within a reasonable period of time, FHWA shall extend such tolling authority. (b) The FHWA may take other action as may be appropriate, including action pursuant to § 1.36 of this title.
