§ 661.15 What are the eligible activities for IRRBP funds? (a) IRRBP funds can be used to carry out PE, construction, and CE activities of projects to replace, rehabilitate, seismically retrofit, paint, apply calcium magnesium acetate, sodium acetate/formate or other environmentally acceptable, minimally corrosive anti-icing and deicing compositions, or install scour countermeasures for structurally deficient or functionally obsolete IRR bridges, including multiple pipe culverts. (b) If a bridge is replaced under the IRRBP, IRRBP funds can be also used for the demolition of the old bridge.
