22 C.F.R. § 51.44 — Proof of resumption or retention of U.S. citizenship.

§ 51.44 Proof of resumption or retention of U.S. citizenship. An applicant who claims to have resumed or retained U.S. citizenship must submit with the application a certificate of naturalization or evidence that he or she took the steps necessary to resume or retain U.S. citizenship in accordance with the applicable provision of law.
