18 C.F.R. § 385.712 — Commission review of initial decisions in the absence of exceptions (Rule 712).

§ 385.712 Commission review of initial decisions in the absence of exceptions (Rule 712). (a) General rule. If no briefs on exceptions to an initial decision are filed within the time established by rule or order under Rule 711, the Commission may, within 10 days after the expiration of such time, issue an order staying the effectiveness of the decision pending Commission review. (b) Briefs and argument. When the Commission reviews a decision under this section, the Commission may require that participants file briefs or present oral arguments on any issue. (c) Effect of review. After completing review under this section, the Commission will issue a decision which is final for purposes of rehearing under Rule 713.
