16 C.F.R. § 16.1 — Purpose and scope.
§ 16.1 Purpose and scope. (a) The regulations in this part implement the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. App. I. (b) These regulations shall apply to any advisory committee, as defined in paragraph (b) of § 16.2 of this part. However, to the extent that an advisory committee is subject to particular statutory provisions that are inconsistent with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, these regulations do not apply.
