16 C.F.R. § 1019.2 — Definitions.

§ 1019.2 Definitions. As used in this subpart A of this part 1019: (a) Consignee means the person, partnership, corporation or entity in a foreign country to whom noncomplying goods are sent; (b) Export means to send goods outside the United States or United States possessions for purposes of trade, except the term does not apply to sending goods to United States installations located outside the United States or its possessions; (c) Exporter means the person, partnership, corporation or entity that initiates the export of noncomplying goods; (d) Noncomplying goods means any item described in § 1019.1(b), except for those items excluded from the requirements of these regulations by § 1019.1 (c), (d), and (e).
