§ 23.6 Definitions. (a) Operating units. Bureaus and other organizational entities outside the Office of the Secretary charged with carrying out specified substantive functions ( i.e. , programs). (b) Organizational units. The organizational units within the Department of Commerce are: Office of the Secretary Bureau of Economic Analysis Economic Development Administration Bureau of the Census International Trade Administration Minority Business Development Agency National Bureau of Standards National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Telecommunications and Information Administration National Technical Information Service Patent and Trademark Office United States Travel and Tourism Administration
