Idaho Code § 72-526 — Penalty For Default — Collection By Civil Action — Duty Of Attorney General.

TITLE 72 WORKER’S COMPENSATION AND RELATED LAWS — INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION CHAPTER 5 INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION 72-526. Penalty for default — Collection by civil action — Duty of attorney general. Any surety who is in default for ten (10) days in any payment required to be made under the provisions of this law shall be liable for a penalty for every ten (10) day period or any part thereof during which such failure continues of ten percent (10%) of the amount originally due. It shall be the duty of the attorney general to bring a civil action in the name of the state in the proper court to collect the penalty herein provided, and the amount collected shall be paid into the state treasury to be deposited in the industrial administration fund.
