Granting Of Operation And Use Privileges

TITLE 70 WATERCOURSES AND PORT DISTRICTS CHAPTER 22 COUNTY-BASED OR CITY-BASED INTERMODAL COMMERCE AUTHORITY 70-2209. Granting of operation and use privileges. In connection with the operation of transportation, storage, or other facilities owned or controlled by an intermodal authority, the intermodal authority may: (1)  Enter into contracts, leases, and other arrangements for terms not to exceed thirty (30) years: (a)  Granting the privilege of using or improving the intermodal authority facility or any portion or facility thereof or space therein for commercial purposes; (b)  Conferring the privilege of supplying goods, commodities, services or facilities at the intermodal authority facility; and (c)  Making available services to be furnished by the intermodal authority or its agents at the transportation, storage or other facility; and (2)  Establish the terms and conditions and fix the charges, rentals or fees for the privileges or services, which must be reasonable and uniform for the same class of privilege or service and must be established with due regard to the property and improvements used and the expenses of operation to the authority.
