Idaho Code § 67-8808 — Qualifications.
TITLE 67 STATE GOVERNMENT AND STATE AFFAIRS CHAPTER 88 IDAHO LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIREFIGHTING AND EMS MEDAL OF HONOR 67-8808. QUALIFICATIONS. All nominees shall: (1) Be, or at the time of the incident must have been, a law enforcement officer, firefighter, or EMS provider performing or fulfilling responsibilities in an official capacity as a law enforcement officer, firefighter, or EMS provider; and (2) Have performed with exceptional meritorious conduct, including conduct that resulted in death or serious injury.
