Idaho Code § 67-5762 — Objectives And Considerations.

TITLE 67 STATE GOVERNMENT AND STATE AFFAIRS CHAPTER 57 DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION 67-5762. Objectives and considerations. It shall be the director of the department of administration’s objective to procure and maintain on behalf of officers and employees the most adequate group coverages reasonably obtainable for the money available for required premiums and prepayments. In the selection of insurers and health care service organizations to provide such coverages, the director shall give consideration to factors, other than lowest apparent premium or prepayment, such as risk retention, reserves, extent to which the insurer or organization will facilitate administration, and to its reputation and record for promptness and fairness in the treatment of claims, as well as to its financial dependability.
